Vince Geronimo, PE, CFM, QSD/QSP
Aloha. I’m Vince. I’m grateful to have a loving family and many close friends. I’ve been extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to attend college and grad school, work alongside my mentors, and be able to support excellent clients on a diverse portfolio of projects.
I joined the Marine Corps after graduating High School and used the GI Bill to attend engineering school at Southern Illinois University. I received my BS Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Environmental Engineering. My engineering career started in the mid-1990s in Denver, CO. I soon began taking night courses at the University of Colorado which led to a MS Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Water Resources: hydrology and river hydraulics.
I’ve been an engineering consultant for nearly 3 decades, working for small firms and large companies. My clients have been a mix of private clients and local, state, and federal agencies. I’ve been a registered Professional Engineer (PE) and a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) since 2001 and am certified as a Construction General Permit Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) and/or Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD). I’m grateful to have been invited to participate on several professional Boards and a Foundation.
I’m married to my wife Elizabeth. We live in the San Francisco Bay Area with our two children, two dogs, and a cat. You can find me paddling along a slough, running along the Bay Trail, camping in the Sierras, lounging on a California beach, or restoring MCM furniture at home.
