Our Story

Geronimo Engineering PC was established in California in 2022. The firm was started by Principal Owner, Vince Geronimo, PE, CFM, QSD to offer consulting services founded on principles that support the integration of social justice as a key value for a practice in water resources, civil engineering, coastal science, environmental planning, and climate science and adaptation. We are committed to providing innovative, high-quality services, safely and responsibly to help people and communities be resilient, as a catalyst for sustainability.

Geronimo Engineering is registered as a Small Business, in addition to being certified as a MBE, DBE, and VOSB. Our Mission to provide strategic, innovative, and socially-just perspectives that drive engineering solutions, distinguishes a practice that works toward more equitable practices within the Architecture-Engineering-Construction (AEC) industry. Our Values and culture are rooted in traditional Pacific Island core values gained from our founder’s heritage on the islands of Guam and Hawaii.

The work that inspired the formation of Geronimo Engineering came from a variety of challenges to overcome AEC ‘business as usual’ and advocate for people and their communities today and help them become resilient in the future. With decades of consulting experience, working on each aspect of the project lifecycle, including charette facilitation and outreach to communities, Geronimo Engineering is well positioned to partner with clients and the communities they represent to deliver multi-benefit solutions for multi-purpose projects that operationalize equity for more sustainable communities.
